Whether you need fragile labels, size strips for jeans, color coding dots or heart stickers for a party, we can usually fill and ship your order the day we receive it. In addition to our regular labels, many items are available in a variety of fluorescent stocks, metallic finishes, and unique colors. We have no minimum order requirement.

We do our best to ship the same day you order if an order is placed before 1:00 PM Mountain Standard Time Monday Through Friday.  These orders would be for our pre-printed labels.  Custom labels will take a bit longer to create and ship.  We are open from 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, M-F. Closed on holidays.

Nexus Tax Law:

In June 2018, the US Supreme Court ruled that because more and more sales are being done online, that States can create economic nexus laws to help States collect more sales tax and to help brick and mortar stores even the playing field with eCommerce businesses. Since then, many States have passed economic nexus laws. is now required to meet the States economic nexus laws and collect sales tax for that state.

If you are being charged tax from us. It is because:

1. We have some type of physical presence in your State.


2. Your State has passed an economic tax law that we are required to meet based on our sales into that State.

The only exception we can provide is for religious, non profits and government organizations.  If you are not one of those entities, we will not be able to provide tax exemption (even with a tax exemption form).  The reason is because InStockLabels is held liable in a tax audit if the certificate comes back invalid in anyway.  This means if something was not up to par with the certificate, we would have to pay the tax plus any applicable interest and penalties.   

We ship hundreds of orders every day on a streamlined process.  The validation, management, and storage of exemption certificates is an administration nightmare that will hold up the sales process.  

Common Exemption Certificate Errors:

  • Missing Signatures/does not include signature of accepted signer
  • Missing issue date
  • Incorrect claim type/certificate not accepted
  • Document (letter,email) not recognized by State taxing authorities
  • Includes name or address other than direct buyer or seller
  • Showing State ID for wrong State

If anything at all is not correct and we miss it, would be responsible and have to pay a hefty fine.  What we suggest for our customers who are tax exempt is to file any purchases with the IRS at the end of the year.  You will be credited back on your tax returns. 

Lastly, by law, we reserve the right not to accept certain tax exemption certificates.  We are the manufacturer and do not sell our labels for the purpose of resell.

If, for some reason, you need to return any product, please email us and ask for a "Return Authorization Number". You will fill the form out, write the RMA number on it then include it with your return shipment. will pay for shipping of returns if it is our fault.

Please Note:
• Return Authorization Number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package.

• Enclose a copy of the invoice or packing slip with the return.

• No goods will be accepted for return after 30 days from the invoice date.

• Merchandise must be returned within 10 days of receiving return authorization number.

• No used or damaged items will be accepted for return.

• Packaged items must be returned in original packaging for proper credit

For Overseas Orders:

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; has no control over these charges, nor can predict what they may be. is NOT responsible for duties and taxes required to import goods.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Sometimes the carrier collects the customs fees or tariffs on your customs office's behalf. Depending on the carrier, they will either require you to pay the fees and tariffs before releasing your package or, they will release the package on delivery and send you a bill for the charges later. They may also charge you a Broker's fee for clearing your package through customs. You can have the Broker's fee removed by contacting the carrier before your shipment arrives to your country and clearing the shipment yourself. If you are unsure who the carrier is, please contact us and we can let you know which carrier it is. Rest assured, the collected fees are related to customs clearance, and are separate from the base shipping charge collected at checkout, which is what we must charge for all orders we send out.
